Dresden Transport Museum
The Transport Museum on the Neumarkt square invites visitors on an eventful journey back in time through the history of transport and traffic. Imposing locomotives, elegant antique cars, adventurous flying machines and all kinds of suspenseful (hi)stories on the water, on the land and in the air await you on 5,000 square metres of exhibition space. You’ll learn how modern transport means have influenced society. And in many cases the experience is an active one: you can climb onto a high wheeler, board a steam engine, sail a digital regatta and much more. And there’s a special section just for children – featuring, among other things, a Bobbycar course.
