Construction projects
The Office for Construction Supervision (Bauaufsichtsamt) has to make sure that public law regulations are observed when constructing, modifying, changing the use of and removing (structural) installations.
The construction, modification or changes to the use of (structural) installations generally requires planning permission unless a legal exception applies to the project. Projects can also be carried out without any procedures or permission under certain conditions. A notification may be required for removing installations on a case-by-case basis.
