Waste management in Dresden
The Waste Management/City Cleaning Department of the Urban Green and Waste Management Office plans and organises waste disposal for households and businesses as well as cleaning of public streets.
The department is responsible for the development and implementation of a waste management concept and waste management statutes. It prepares the annual waste balance sheet for the city of Dresden.
The staff will be happy to advise you on waste reduction, waste separation and the disposal options available in the city.
re you interested in a clean city? Every year in spring, the Dresden Elbe riverbank clean-up and numerous other cleaning campaigns are organised and carried out in various city districts.
