Memorial Münchner Platz Dresden

For almost half a century, the area around the Münchner Platz was used as a court but also as a pre-trial detention centre and an execution site. The memorial site honours the victims and reminds of the crimes of justice that were committed during the National Socialist rule, Soviet occupation and the early years of the GDR. The exhibition SENTENCED.IMPRISONED.EXECUTED documents the role of penal justice at this place and illustrates it based on selected biographies.

Admission is generally free of charge
