Creating. Dresden. Together.

From 18 September to 9 October 2022, the 32nd Intercultural Days took place in Dresden. A varied programme with more than 200 events offered the opportunity for meetings and exchanges. During the three weeks concerts, lectures, exhibitions, film screenings and much more created the colourful side of Dresden with all its diversity.

The theme of the Intercultural Days was “Creating. Dresden. Together.”. Through their active participation and participation in the events, all organizers were able to shape Dresden together and to show that the community needs to bring about change. Together, Dresden showed that new perspectives could be taken on, that we can learn from each other, that we can overcome our own prejudices and thus enrich social coexistence in the long term.

We thank all those who have contributed to the creation and realization of the Intercultural Days 2022 in Dresden!

The Intercultural Days 2023 are expected to take place from 17 September to 8 October 2023. We look forward to see you again!

Further impressions of the Intercultural Days from the past years can be found under film contributions and in the picture galleries.

Media partnerships

The SACHSEN FERNSEHEN Dresden and the Sächsische Zeitung, have supported us as media partners during the Intercultural Days 2022.

As part of this collaboration, SACHSEN FERNSEHEN Dresden has showed portraits with stories of six migrants on the subject of occupational integration in Dresden. Therefore, they are focusing on the past five years. They tell us about their lives and actions: What connects them to Dresden, what motivated them, who stood by them, but also what were the obstacles on their way to a career or an apprenticeship?

The portraits can be viewed at the category Videos.
