Events on the Dresden Striezelmarkt
The Dresden Striezelmarkt program takes place as a matter of priority on the big stage on the eastern side of the market. Some events include parts of the market, so the Stollen and the Pyramid festival.
Events in churches
Dresden's city centre churches, in particular the Kreuzkirche and the Frauenkirche, but also those a little further from the Striezelmarkt such as the Annenkirche and the Cathedral, present a varied programme of organ recitals and choir concerts during the Advent period.
Christmas exhibition in the town hall cellar
The exhibition "My most beautiful Christmas present - yesterday and today" in the town hall cellar (basement of the city hall) is open from November 27th until December 30th, 2009 daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The admission is cost-free.
