Night skating
Every Friday between 9.00 and 11.00 p.m. (from mid-April to mid-October), between 4,000 and 5,000 inline skaters take to the roads of Dresden. The typical length of a tour is approx. 20 kilometres, with a different route being organised each week.
Meeting place
All tours begin at the half-pipe on the grounds of the former Robotron office complex (Pirnaischer Platz).
Complete skater overalls and skates can be hired, if necessary. Music, drinks and snacks are similarly taken care of.
A skater party is held on the last Friday of each month.
The night skate event has been organised regularly for the past five years, with responsibility in the hands of a crew from the association »Dresden skated«.
