Georg Arnhold Swimming Baths

The swimming baths originally built by privy councillor Georg Arnhold in June 1926 is located right in the centre of Dresden and is without doubt one of the most appealing swimming baths in the city. A major three-phase renovation project was commenced in 1994, with a significant financial contribution from Arnhold's grandchildren. The complex was finally completed in 1997, as a modern combination of indoor and open-air pools.

Visitors to the swimming baths are able to look forward to a 25-metre competition pool, a recreation pool and a shallow section with a total area of 567 m².

• Senior citizens (over 50s only): Swimming, bathing and other organised fitness activities in a pleasant group atmosphere (not during the Saxon school holidays)
• Warm bathing
