Opening of the "Turkish Chamber"
With the restoration and furnishing of the Dresden Royal Palace, the permanent exhibition of the "Turkish Chamber" will be on display from 2010 for the first time in over 60 years.

State of the Art since 1560. The Exhibition.
Using top class exhibits, the collection focuses on chapters in history which were important for the development of the state art collections in the past 450 years.

"Triumph of the Blue Swords. Meissen Porcelain for Aristocracy and Bourgeoisie from 1710 to 1815"
In 1710 August the Strong founded Europe´s first porcelain manufactory in Meißen. Its exquisite products soon became the must-have status symbol for royalty throughout Europe and to this day it remains the epitome of sophisticated dining culture. The Porcelain Collection of the State Art Collection ist holding a special exhibition to mark the 300-year anniversary of the founding of the manufactory.
