City (walking) tours

Dresden is full of potential discoveries. If you prefer not to explore the city on your own, there are many different tours available to show you the best parts of the »Florence on the Elbe«. While some might prefer a more comprehensive, broader view of Dresden, other tours can take you to adventurous and exciting places – and give you the exclusive stories behind them.

In addition to the traditional rambles through the city, visitors are especially enthusiastic about the themed city walks. Night watchmen and dungeonkeepers can lead you through their worlds, explain how white porcelain is manufactured, or illuminate other important moments in the city’s history. Various bus tours are also available nearly every hour.

Furthermore, participants can explore the Saxon capital in more than just a normal bus – carriage rides, bike tours and Trabi safaris, where every participant receives a Trabi driver’s license at the end, are also available. The discovery tour of the Dresden Elbe Valley is also an eventful experience. The city is ready to be explored by foot, by bus, by funicular rail and by ship.
