Dr. Sybille Bauriedl
Dr. Sybille Bauriedl ist wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin des Forschungsprojekts »Partizipation, Akzeptanz und Regionale Governance« (PARG) im BMBF-geförderten Klimaanpassungsnetzwerk für die Modellregion Nordhessen (KLIMZUG) an der Universität Kassel und lehrt dort im Arbeitsgebiet politikwissenschaftliche Umweltforschung. Zuvor hat sie an der Universität Hamburg zu nachhaltiger Entwicklung europäischer Metropolen gearbeitet und zu diesem Thema in der Geografie promoviert und in München gelehrt. Ihre Arbeitsschwerpunkte: Klimavulnerabilität, dezentrale Energieversorgung, politische Ökologie, Geschlechterverhältnisse.
Dr Sybille Bauriedl is a member of the academic team on the »Participation, acceptance, regional governance« (PARG) research project for the Regional Network for Climate Change Adaptation - Northern Hesse (KLIMZUG), funded by the Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF - Federal Ministry of Education and Research) and based at the University of Kassel, where she also teaches environmental politics. She previously worked on sustainable development in European metropolises at the University of Hamburg, was awarded her doctorate in geography on the same topic, and taught in Munich. Key specialist areas: climate vulnerability, decentralised energy provision, political ecology, gender relations.
